Two-Squirrel Conspiracy Print E-mail
Written by City of Corunna

Who Are We To Believe?

Local news reports have spurred debate over what actually happened in Corunna on the morning of December 25th.

Consumers Energy officials have claimed that two squirrels conspired to cut the power to 1,800 customers on Christmas morning. This conflicts with earlier reports by city officials than the just one squirrel committed the traitorous act.

City officials believe the second squirrel was zapped in a previous incident in the not to distant past.

They did not use cadaver temperature probes to estimate the time of death, and the crime lab was not bought in to authenticate.

They claim that the second squirrel was not as "fresh" as the first.

"Fresh"...  Sloppy investigative work if you ask me!

The stink on the 25th may have just been that of a cover up!

In the first photo above, both squirrels clearly had nuts in their mouths. In the photo shown above, the second squirrel does not appear to be packing a nut.  What gives?

City officials claim that they can not locate the remains of either squirrel for further investigation.

The Two Squirrel Conspirarcy

Will we ever know the truth?
